Question 1149768: How do I find the points for an inequality y is greater than or equal to x squared minus 8.
I know that it is a parabola which opens upwards with a vertex of -8.
The program we use only allows for whole numbers to be selected and therefore finding x and y intercept by setting one variable to zero does not work. Found 2 solutions by josgarithmetic, ikleyn:Answer by josgarithmetic(39620) (Show Source):

Solution
You want to find all solutions to this inequality
y >= x^2 - 8
The curve y = x^2 - 8 is the parabola opened upwards with the vertex (0,-8).
The solutions to the given inequality are ALL POINTS of the coordinate plane, that are on the parabola or ABOVE the parabola.
