It gives the ANSWER  a = sqrt%281%2F16%29 = 1%2F4.


Notice that the base of the exponential function must be positive real number;

therefore, of the two values of  sqrt%281%2F16%29 = +/- 1%2F4  I chose the positive value in my answer.
