You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Kylee has $0.80 in nickels and dimes.
.05n + .10d = .80
She has four more nickels than dimes.
d = n + 4
How many of each coin does she have?
;
in the 1st equation replace d with (n+4)
solve for n

One of the other person's equations is WRONG!
Correct equations: N = D + 4, or N - D = 4, or D = N - 4 ------ eq (i)
.05N + .1D = .8 ------ eq (ii)
Substitute N - 4 for D in eq (ii) to get value of N, or the number of nickels
Substitute the value of N into eq (i), which is the EASIER one, to get the value of D, or the number of dimes.
Last 2 lines could be omitted since you claim that you know how to solve the equations, and only need the setup.
