You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Your basic equation is THIS :

    0.8*9 + 0.75*x = 0.78*(x+9)

From it, express x and calculate

    x = %280.78%2A9-0.8%2A9%29%2F%280.75-0.79%29 = 4.5.

ANSWER. 4.5 kg of the second alloy should be added.
