Question 1147230: Good evening. I am struggling with a math problem on my homework. Here is the problem:

The volume of a cylinder is given by the formula V=πr2h. Find the height h
if the volume is 84 cubic feet, the radius is 7/11 and π is 22/7.
I tried solving it by multiplying the fractions and then multiplying the answer by 2. I don't know if I am missing a step, or if I am doing the entire problem wrong.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
V=pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah

Solve for h.
V%281%2Fpi%29%281%2Fr%5E2%29=pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah%281%2Fpi%29%281%2Fr%5E2%29
V%2F%28pi%2Ar%5E2%29=h

..., if the volume is 84 cubic feet, the radius is 7/11 and π is 22/7.
Substitute into the formula for h, and evaluate.
