You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is the equation of the line passing through the points (2,-1) and (5,-10) in slope-intercept form?
------------
Step 1, find the slope m
Step 2, use y-y1 = m*(x-x1) where (x1,y1) is either point.
=============================
Or,

|x   y   1|
|2  -1   1| = 0
|5 -10   1|

===============================
PS Don't put spaces after the commas in the points.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! First use the slope formula:
  with
(x1, y1) = (2, -1), and (x2, y2) = (5, -10)
to find the slope m.
Then use the formula

Only substitute numbers for m and for (x1, y1).
Do not substitute any numbers for x or y, but leave them as the letters
x and y. Then simplify and solve for y.
