Question 1145531: The height h in feet of a projectile fired up from the ground is given by the function h(t) =16t^2+128t, where t it the time in seconds. How many seconds will it take the projectile to reach its maximum height? What is that height? How many seconds will it take for the projectile to land?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Your function is written INCORRECTLY.

Surely, I could fix it.

But I want YOU do it and would learn the subject on the way.

So, find your error;

fix it,

then re-post to the forum.

--------------
h(t) = 16t^2+128t
-----
There is no max.
h(t) increases with time

PS Finally a function modelling the height of a rocket, tho not a good one.
Rockets height are a function of the 3rd power of time, since their weight decreases as they burn fuel.
Rocket science is complex.
