Question 1145326: I am at a complete loss as to how to complete the following table. I have looked through my textbook, which is a cut and paste edition my professor made, and I do not see this formula anywhere. I can assume it is something very easy, but my mind just can not figure it out. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Suppose the proportion of a certain camera which are defective is 0.075. A sample of 4 cameras is selected at random. Define the random variable x as the number of defective cameras in the sample.
Write the probability distribution for x. Round each entry to five decimal places exactly.

This is a straightforward application of binomial probability. The probability that a particular camera is faulty is 0.075, so the probability that it is not defective is 0.925.
You won't learn anything by having us do the calculations for you, so I leave that to you. Here is what you need
To check your calculations you can verify that the sum of those probabilities is equal to 1.
