You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
If m(x) = -2x+1, what is [m(x+2) - m(x)]/2?
The answer is said to be -2 but I keep on getting 1.
-------------
m(x+2) = -2(x+2) + 1 = -2x - 3
Subtract m(x)
m(x+2) - m(x) = -4
-4/2 = -2
