You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter(P) of a rectangle equals the two times the Length(L) plus two times the Width(W) or:
P=2L+2W
Let W=the width
W/2=one half the width
((W/2)+10)= 10 meters more than half the width=L
So:
P=44=2((W/2)+10)+2W get rid of parens and simplify
44=W+20+2W subtract 20 from both sides
44-20=W+20-20+2W collect like terms
24=3W divide both sides by 3

W=8 units-----------------width
(W/2)+10=(8/2)+10=4+10=14 units---------------length
CK
4+10=14
14=14
2*8+2*14=44
16+28=44
44=44
