You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I think they are saying that the base lies on the line
+x+=+0+ which is the y-axis.
The line through the vertex perpendicular to the base
has slope = 0
-----------------
One side has a positive slope of 1 ( 45 degrees )
The other side has slope of -1 ( 45 + 90 = 135 degrees )
------------------------------------
1st side:
Use point-slope formula:
+%28+y+-+%28-3%29+%29+%2F+%28+x+-+%28-2%29+%29+=+1+
+y+%2B+3+=+x+%2B+2+
+y+=+x+-+1+
-----------------
2nd side:
+%28+y+-+%28-3%29+%29+%2F+%28+x+-+%28-2%29+%29+=+-1+
+y+%2B+3+=+-1%2A%28+x+%2B+2+%29+
+y+%2B+3+=+-x+-+2+
+y+=+-x+-+5+
--------------------
check answers:
( -2,-3 )
+y+=+x+-+1+
+-3+=+-2+-+1+
+-3+=+-3+
OK
-------------------
+y+=+-x+-+5+
+-3+=+-%28-2%29+-5+
+-3+=+2+-+5+
+-3+=+-3+
OK
