You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A.%285%21%2F6%21%29- Supposed there will be only 1 for the fifth place then the remaining 5 shall be ocuupied by order of 5!. To illustrate, 5-4-3-2-1-1. And of course, the arrangement for the sample space is 6!. Since we consider the total nunber of events.
B.%283%21%2F6%21%29-Same principle applied with letter A.
C. Since we specify on how we situate the persons there should be 1/6! Likewise, bserve that there is 1 1 1 1 1 1 sequence
D.%282%2A4%21%29%2F%286%21%29-2 persons A or D can occupy the first performance and the rest shall be arranged accordingly by 4!

The correct answers are

(a) P = 5%21%2F6%21 = 1%2F6.

(b) P = 4%21%2F6%21 = 1%2F%285%2A6%29 = 1%2F30.

(c) P = 1%2F6%21.

(d) P = 5%21%2F6%21 + 5%21%2F6%21 = 2%2A%281%2F6%29 = 1%2F3.
