You can put this solution on YOUR website! Slope m=2
The given point is (0,-1)
Let the equation of the line be y=mx+c where c is the y-intercept.
Plugging in the point in the line we get,
-1=0+c
c=-1
The equation of the line is y=2x-1
The point (1,1) also lies on the straight line.
Answer=(1,1)

The math will be more interesting to you if you understand it, rather than solving problems by plugging numbers into formulas. Try solving this problem using a basic understanding of slope.
A slope of 2 means you go up 2 units for every 1 unit you move to the right. See how far you move to the right and up or down to get from the given point (0,-1) to each of the answer choice points.
(0,-1) to (2,1): right 2, up 2. NOPE! With a slope of 2, right 2 would have to be up 4.
(0,-1) to (1,1): right 1, up 2. YES! That is what we need with a slope of 2.
(0,-1) to (0,1): right 0, up 2. In this case, we haven't moved right at all, so the slope is undefined.
