| Question 1142806: Triangle ABC has coordinates A(2, 4), B(12, 4), and C( - 4, - 8). Find the coordinates of the image of triangle ABC after a dilation with center (0, 0) and scale factor 1/4.
 A’(0.5, 1), B’(3, 1), C’( - 1, - 2)
 A’(0.5, 4), B’(4, 1), C’( - 1, - 2)
 A’(0.25, 1), B’(3, 1), C’( - 2, - 1)
 A’(0.25, 1), B’(4, 1), C’( - 1, - 2)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
With the dilation having center (0,0), the problem is easy.

Simply multiply each coordinate of each point by 1/4. (Or divide by 4....)
