You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Let P be the Peter's age now.

Then the condition gives you this equation

    %28P%2B2%29%2F2 + %28P-3%29%2F3 = 20.

To solve it, multiply both sides of the equation by 6. You will get

    3*(P+2) + 2*(P-3) = 120,

    3P + 6 + 2P - 6 = 120,

    5P              = 120

     P              = 120/5 = 24.

ANSWER. Peter is 24 years old.
