You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Find the following.

g^-1(5)

The value of x for which the y value is 5. Inspection shows it to be 2.

h^-1(x)

The value of x for which the y value is -1.
3x-13+=+-1
3x+=+-1%2B13+=+12
x+=+4

(h^-1 o h)(7)

By the definition of inverse functions, this is equal to 7. (Operating on an input value with a function and then operating on the result with the inverse function gets you back where you started.)
