Question 1140669: 1. through: (5,4), parallel to y=0
2. through:(3,-3), parallel to y=1/4x+5
3. through:(1,4), perp. to y=-1/3x
4. through:(2,-1), perp. to y=-x-1
5. through:(-3,0), perp. to y=-3/5-1
6. through:(-4,1), perp. to y=0

You can put this solution on YOUR website! ---------------------------------------
1. through: (5,4), parallel to y=0
---------------------------------------
This means y=4;
all x values are included.
For the other questions y=mx+b has slope m.
You could use the point-slope equation form for any included point (h,k); and for parallel, slope m; for perpendicular to given line, slope .
#6 is different. Perpendicular to y=0 will mean, slope is undefined and you want a line that is vertical.
