With that little 3 there it's not a square root but a cube root.

root%283%2C27%2F512%29 <-- "cube root of 27 over 512." 

Since 27 = 3•3•3 = 33 and 512 = 8•8•8 = 83, the above
becomes: 

root%283%2C%283%2F8%29%5E3%29

and the cube root and the cube cancel each other out and just leave this:
