Add their rates of working to
get their rate working together
Let +t+ = their time working together
+1%2F60+%2B+1%2F30+=+1%2Ft+
Multiply both sides by +60t+
+t+%2B+2t+=+60+
+3t+=+60+
+t+=+20+
Working together it takes
them 20 min
