Question 1139002: Mr. and Mrs. Zhang want to name their new baby Zhang so that her monogram (first, middle, and last initials) will be in alphabetical order with no letters repeated. How many such monograms are possible? Answer by ikleyn(52887) (Show Source):
Last position in monogram is just occupied by the letter Z (last initial).
Middle position (middle initial) is just occupied also by the father's name.
Hence, first initial must PRECEDE to the first letter of the father's name.
At this point I should stop my solution, since I don't know the first letter of the father's name -
