(x-25) = price minus instant rebate

(1-0.25)(x-25) = price after 25% discount = 775
0.75(x-25) = 775
x-25 = 775/0.75
x-25 = 1033.33
x = 1033.33+25
x = 1058.33

Ans: original price was $1058.33

Check: 1058.33-25 = 1033.33
(1-0.25)(1033.33) = 0.75(1033.33) = $775.00 (rounded to nearest penny)
