Use the proportion

25%2F6 = 9%2Fx,


where x stands for unknown width of the model in inches.


From the proportion find


    x = %286%2A9%29%2F25 inches = 54%2F25 inches = 24%2F25 inches = 2.16 inches.     ANSWER

Notice that although the dimensions "feet" and "inches" are different, the way on how I construct this proportion, works correctly.
