USING THE PYTHAGOREAN THEORUM A^2+B^2=C^2 YOU GET
A^2+5^2=20^2
A^2+25=400
A^2=400-25
A^2=375
A=SQRT375
A=19.365 FEET ABOVE GROUND IS WHERE THE LADDER TOUCHES THE BUILDING.
