HERE YOU HAVE A RIGHT TRIANGLE WITH THE LONGER SIDE=50 FEET.
IF THE 30 DEGREE ANGLE IS AT THE TOP OF THE POLE THEN THIS IS A 1-2-SQRT3 RIGHT TRIANGLE.
THE SQRT3 SIDE IS EQUIVILANT TO THE 50 FOOT POLE.
THUS WE HAVE A RELATIONSHIP OF 50/SQRT3=X/2.
NOW CROSS MULTIPLY
SQRT3*X=50*2
1.732X=100
X=100/1.732
X=57.74 FEET IS THE LENGTH OF THE GUY WIRE.
