You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
(a) h(2) = -16%2A2%5E2+%2B+47%2A2+%2B3 = 33 ft. ANSWER

(b) Solve the equation

     h(t) = 0, which is -16%2At%5E2+%2B+47t+%2B+3 = 0.

     t%5B1%2C2%5D = %28-47+%2B-+sqrt%28%28-47%29%5E2+-4%2A%28-16%29%2A3%29%29%2F%28-32%29 = %28-47+%2B-+49%29%2F%28-32%29.

    Use the positive root t = %2847+%2B+49%29%2F32 = 3 seconds. ANSWER
