You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
The two pumps drain 1%2F6 of the pool volume per hour, working together.

The new pump drains 1%2F14 of the pool volume per hour.

Working alone, the old pump drains 1%2F6+-+1%2F14 = 7%2F42+-+3%2F42 = 4%2F42 = 2%2F21 of the poll volume per hour.

It means that the new pump needs 21%2F2 = 101%2F2 hours = 10 hours and 30 minutes to drain the pool. ANSWER
