Question 1134527: Graph both functions to find the solution(s) to the system.
+f%28x%29+=+-2x+%2B+1+g%28x%29+=+x%5E2+-+2x+-+3+
Use the line tool to graph the line.
Use the parabola tool to graph the parabola. Choose maximum or minimum point first and then a point on the parabola.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Your answer IS NOT correct.

It is wrong.

To solve the problem correctly, you must correctly determine the position of the parabola's vertex,

but you don't know how to do it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
system%28f%28x%29=-2x%2B1%2Cg%28x%29=x%5E2-2x-3%29

Find the zeros and the vertex of your parabola to help in graphing it.
g%28x%29=x%5E2-2x-3
%28x%2B1%29%28x-3%29
Zeros are at x system%28-1%2Cand%2C3%29----------and since the vertex occurs in the exact middle, the x value for vertex must be at x=1; you can find the corresponding y value for this.

You can graph the given line f(x) since you already know its y-intercept and slope.
