Question 1133945: Hi there i had done the following expression 4x/x^2-1+3x/1-x-4/x-1 i have some issues with it,I have seen the full step by step process giving the full answer and had got stuck on how some things were arrived at . I wonder if some one would kindly shed some light on some of my following queries 1. In the third term why is it a -4 ? 2. Also in the third term why x-1 instead of -x+1 for one of the numerators ? 3. In the second term 3x/1-x if a greater explanation of how the denominators are ahieved ? especially 1-x (-(x+1)(-x+1) and finally 4. Factoring the total numerator if perhaps a break down explanation is given. as this all would be most appreciated for furthering my studies kind regards. Answer by josgarithmetic(39618) (Show Source):
