Question 1133726: If we define m¿n to mean 5m-3n and m§n to mean 2-n, then what is the value of (8§2 ) ¿ (7¿6)?
Answer by greenestamps(13203) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Plug in the given values and follow the instructions....
For example, 7¿6 = 5(7)-3(6) = 35-18 = 17.
I suspect, however, that you have not shown the definitions correctly. The definition of m§n should involve both m and n; but your definition shows m§n = 2-n.
...or possibly that is the right definition -- in which case you can finish the problem.
