You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Let "x" be the distance.

Then your "time" equation is

    x%2F48 - x%2F60 = 2    hours.

It is really a "time" equation, since every ratio in the left side is the time of traveling !

To solve the equation, multiply both sides by 48*60. You will get

    60x - 48x = 2*48*60.

    12x = 2*48*60  ====>  x = %282%2A48%2A60%29%2F12 = 2*4*60 = 8*60 = 480.

ANSWER. The distance is 480 kilometers.

CHECK.   480%2F48 - 480%2F60 = 10 - 8 = 2 hours.    ! Precisely correct !
