You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the ages of two employees at a company is 63 years, with the elder employee twice as old as the younger employee.
How old is each employee
:
You should be able to do this in your head, but here is the algebra way:
a = age of the younger guy
then
2a = the age of the old fart
Sum of their ages
a + 2a = 63
3a = 63
a = 63/3
a = 21 is age of the younger, obviously 42 is the age of the older
21 + 42 + 63
