Let two consecutive odd integers integers be n and (n+2).


Then the condition says


5*(n+2) = 8n + 1


5n + 10 = 8n + 1


10-1 = 8n - 5n


3n = 9  ====>  n= 3.


Answer.  The numbers are 3 and 5.
