You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Gabe gets a $15 base salary and 10% commission on his hourly sales at Auto Corporation.
Let Ax be the earnings at Auto Corporation.
Ax= 15+10%x
Ranger Corporation offers him a base salary of $30 plus 5% commission on his hourly sales.
Let Rx be the earnings at Ranger Corporation
Rx = 30+5%x
Iearnings will be same when
15+10%x=30+5%x
10%x-5%x= 15
5%x =15
0.05x =15
x= 300
The hourly sales should be greater than 300 to be better off at Auto Corporation

What would his hourly samples (x) need to be for him to be better off at Auto Corporation?
