You can find the 2 times, going and returning.
Then find km/hr by dividing the kms by the hours.

Avg speed = 2*32*48/(32+48)
Notice that the distance is not relevant if they are equal going and returning.
Also notice it's not the average of 32 & 48 because more time is spent at 32 km/hr.
