Question 1129557: Students in the school band are selling calendars. It costs them $125 to make the
calendars but they earn more than $327 after their expenses. How many must they
sell to meet their goal?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Something's wrong or omitted. Suppose the calendars are so elaborate that each
one costs $125 to make. Then if they only make 1 calendar and sell it for $453,
then selling just that 1 calendar will give them a profit of $328, which is more
than $327.

If you would like to discuss the problem with me, giving some more information
that got omitted, you may message me in the reply form below and I'll get back
to you by email. There is never any charge, as I answer the questions on here
for fun. I'm a retired math professor.

Cheers,
