In a sequence of consecutive odd integers -- as in any arithmetic sequence -- the 3rd term is the average of the 2nd and 4th terms.

In this problem the sum of the 2nd and 4th is 70, so their average is 70/2=35.

Then since the 3rd of the 4 consecutive odd integers is 35, the sequence is 31, 33, 35, 37.
