Hi
a) Ok so for the first question there is a 50/50 chance of heads/tails
So the probability is 0.5 or 1/2
b) The probability is still 0.5 because the second event isn't dependent on the first so the probability is still 0.5
c) Probability of two tails is 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25
d) It is still 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25
e) So 0.5 x 0.5 and 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25 + 0.25 = 0.5
f) Sample space
HH 0.25
TH 0.25
HT 0.25
TT 0.25
0.25 x 3 = 0.75
Hope this helps
