You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
The condition LITERALLY says THIS:

%28x%2By%29%2F2 = 26,     (1)

%28x-y%29%2F2 = 19.     (2)

Add the equations. You will get

x%2F2 + x%2F2 = 26 + 19 = 45,   or   x = 45.

Now SUBTRACT eq(2) from eq(1). Then you will get

y = 26-19 = 7.

Answer. The numbers are 45 and 7.
