3/5 as many days to complete the job means you need 5/3 as many workers.

5/3 of 6 is 10; you need 10 workers.

10 is 4 more than 6.

ANSWER: you need 4 more workers.

.
This job requires  6*5 = 30 worker-days.

To complete it in  3  days,  you need   30%2F3 = 10 workers.

Hence,  4  workers need to be added to the given  6  workers.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
N1 x D1 = N2 x D2
Where N1 and N2 are the number of mens & D1 and D2 are the number of days.
N1 = 6, D1 = 5, N2 = ?, D2 = 3
Put N2 = X
N1 x D1 = X x D2
X = (N1 x D1)/ D2
X = (6 x 5 )/ 3
X= 10 people needed
So no of people hired = 10-6 = 4
