Question 1125138: The following graphs were presented with this problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lw3y9vgnszmjk8k/Capture01.PNG?dl=0
The top is the original, the bottom is what has been changed. The problem asks to determine what function the new graph (bottom one) is graphed. The parent function is y=f(x).
I'm really not sure what to do here. I don't know where to start. Please help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Look from any reference point to compare the two graphs. See how the chosen reference point has changed. The second graph is shifted 1 unit to the right and 2 units down. Now apply that the the original function f(x).

f%28x-1%29-2

The bottom graph is the top graph shifted down two units and shifted right by 1 unit.
So the bottom function in terms of the top function, f%28x%29, would be,
g%28x%29=f%28x-1%29-2
