Let d be the size of the field and "s" be the Skip speed.


From the condition, you have


    d = 20s = 22.5*(s-1).      


From this equation,  


    20s = 22.5*(s-1)


you have  


    20s = 22.5s - 22.5

    2.5s = 22.5  ====>  s = 22.5%2F2.5 = 9 m/s  is the speed of Skip.


Check.  The field size is  9 m/s * 20 seconds = 180 meters;

        The speed of Bo  is  9-1 = 8 m/s.

        The time for Bo = 180%2F8 = 22.5 seconds.    ! Correct !
