Question 1124941: Consider the functions F(x), G(x) and H(x) described below.
F(x)= x−2 1+2x
x -1 0 1 2 3
G(x) 0 4 3 -1 6
H(x)=
{3-x
{-1
{7
{2<=x<3
{ x^2 +1
{ 3
Assume that the function G is invertible. Compute the following mathematical expressions. If an expression is undefined, write UNDEFINED.
H(2) =
(F(1))−1 = G(H(1)) =
G−1(−1) = G(F(−1))=
H(G(1)) =

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formatting of the question is terrible. After considerable effort, I was able to decipher the functions G(x) and H(x); but I can't tell what the function F(x) is supposed to be.
Then the question you ask is for the values of "the following mathematical expressions". But all I see is one big equation that says several expressions are equal to each other.
So even if it were possible to figure out what F(x) is, the question that is asked makes no sense and so of course can't be answered.
If you are serious about getting help with a problem, it is YOUR responsibility to present it clearly; it is not OUR responsibility to try to figure out what your question is.
