Question 1124506: Please help solve this problem. Find f(1), f(4), and f(-2) if f(x)=-5x-7.
Thank You.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You just need to plug in the numbers for x. For example, to find f(1), set x=1 and turn the crank:
f(1) = -5*(1) - 7 = -5 - 7 = -12
I hope this gives you enough of a template so you can do the other two.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find f(1), f(4), and f(-2) if f(x)=-5x-7.
-----------
f(x)=-5x-7
For f(1), where you see x, sub 1.
-----
For f(-2), where you see x, sub -2.
For f(4), where you see x, sub 4.
----------------
It looks scary, but it's simple.
