You can put this solution on YOUR website! The first clue is "A and C lie between B and D"
B A C D
Next we have "E lies between B and C"
Based upon this information alone we could have
B E A C D
or
B A E C D ( This does not work because E is between A and C )
or
B A C E D ( This does not work since is not between B and C )
So the first option,
B E A C D
is the correct option. E is between B and C and it is not between A and C
