You can put this solution on YOUR website!
57 - 7x > 3x - 2
add 2 to both sides of the inequality and add 7x to both sides of the inequality to get:
57 + 2 > 3x + 7x
combine like terms to get:
59 > 10x
divide both sides of the inequality by 10 to get:
59/10 > x which results in 5.9 > x

22x - 1 < 2x + 47
subtract 2x from both sides of the inequality and add 1 to both sides of the inequality to get:
22x - 2x < 47 + 1
combine like terms to get:
20x < 48
divide both sides of the inequality by 20 to get:
x < 48/20 which results in x < 2.4
