You can put this solution on YOUR website! The equation represents the area of the whole circle. We only want half of the circle. So divide the total area by 2 to get
Start with the given equation
Square 15 to get 225
Multiply 3.14 and 225 to get 706.5
Divide
So the area of the semicircular window is 353.25 sq in
Now multiply 353.25 by 0.85 to find out how much it will cost to coat the window
