What is the base of a right triangle if the area is 24x-28 and the height is 6x-7?
-------------
Area = b*h/2
24x-28 = b*(6x-7)/2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/2) * base * height = area of triangle
:
(1/2) * base * (6x-7) = (24x-28)
:
base = (2*(24x-28))/(6x-7) = (2*4*(6x-7))/(6x-7) = 8

The condition that the triangle is the "right" triangle does not work in this problems and, therefore, is IRRELEVANT.
