Question 1122122: Dan receives $9 per hour plus a bonus of $55 each week. Write an expression for the amount of money Dan makes in a year if he works the same number of hours each week.
My answer: 52(9n+55).
If n=hours worked per week. But I didn't mention to teacher that n=hours per week, so it's wrong? If n= hours worked per year you get a different answer. What's the right way?
Thank you in advance!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If he works 40 hours a week it is 2080 hours a year. That would be 2080*9 +$55*52 or $21580.
If the formula is 52(9n+55) and n=40, this is 52(415)=$21580
Likely, n had to be exactly defined.
Or, one could have dealt with the bonus separately at $2860.
Then the expression would have been amount=52n+2860, where n is the number of hours worked per week.
