You can put this solution on YOUR website! A mother is 30 years older than her twin daughters.
m = t + 30
In 2 years her age will be three times the combined ages of the twins.
m + 2 = 3(2(t+2))
m + 2 = 6t + 12
m = 6t + 12 - 2
m = 6t + 10
replace m with (t+30)
t+30 = 6t + 10
30 - 10 = 6t - t
20 = 5t
t = 20/5
t = 4 yrs is the age of the twins now

See if that checks out in the statement. Mom is 34
"In 2 years her age will be three times the combined ages of the twins."
34 + 2 = 3(2(4+2))
36 = 3(12)
