Question 111930: Hi, I am working on an inequality word problem and I would like to know ifthis is right. I appreciate your help on this. Here it is: Translate the following statements into inequalities. Let x represent the number in each case.
Here is the problem; 2 times a number, increased by 28, is less than or equal to 6 times that number.
The equation I have is this; 2x+28<6 (there should be a line under the "greater than sign" as well)
I hope I explained this well for you. Thank you for your input.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You are close. However, the "6" should be "6x" since is the left side is "less than or equal to 6 times that number"
